So I've been asked what happened to the blog.

To be honest, I'd really like to give up on it. It's stressful to constantly remember to put something up for it everyday. As much as I do love drawing, I'd like to keep some things secret and writing things about my personal life gets me a little uncomfortable at times, but what else can I update about day to day?

About it being stressful, my real life does get in the way, especially as of lately. Worrying about if I have content to update the blog with and the time I should update before it's too late.

I don't really draw as much as I used to, which is a damn shame. But some projects just need to be kept to myself at times, and certain people hounding me to update just adds more stress upon it.

I know you're probably asking why don't I update every other day or when I can? Well, I'd really like to just stop, I just don't have the time or energy to keep this up as I wanted to. I probably just feel like this now, things do change, I always do go back on certain projects, but for now, I'm too tired. I have too much to do and this blog is just adding on to more problems that I have.

So for now, this is goodbye. I'll try to update if I can or if I'm not feeling as bad as I am now. Sorry to those who subscribed, I apologize, but I just need a break from this.

It's not all that nice, I'll fix the textures later. I just wanted to add some color so see what it would look like when it came to life, haha. The bed is laughable and I'm still trying to figure out how to make a chair for the desk. Other than that, I'm pretty proud of it.

Wow, I haven't updated in a few days, I've been so busy playing and trading on tf2, oh man. But anyway, I have a small update c:

Right now I'm about 50% confirmed to go to Arizona. I was able to get up the money thanks to a really good friend of mine ;u; So money is no problem now. The only problem is my mom. Yes, I'm old enough to fend for myself now, I have been for a while but my mom is just too overprotective for her own good. She loves it when we're at home(me and my sisters) I don't know why. I rarely go out because I either have to watch my little sisters while she's gone or because there's no where for me to go.
But I really want to go out and travel. I've wanted to ever since I was 18 but being poor sucks. We're really stable now but it's just my mother gets so pissed if I try to go anywhere it's crazy.

So I'm hoping I can leave, she pretty much said yes I can go but she's not giving me anything, which is fine because I can do it all on my own, which is another thing she wont believe. I'm also hoping once I get home all my stuff wont be outside on the corner lol

I hate to be a party pooper but I didn't have a stellar birthday. I pretty much just sat all day over someones house. I wont say more than that, I didn't have fun, it was impossible to have fun really. My mom had fun without even thinking twice about how I felt about going. I would still be sitting there if I hadn't called my dad to pick us up.

It feels like I haven't updated in forever, wow. I apologize for that but I've been having a grand old time with Andy and Jovanni. They left today, I felt so sad when Andy left ;A; Our moms were talking and we sat on the couch all sad at each other.

But this was the best birthday I've ever had. He'll be back at my house hopefully in November, if not then I'll be going to Arizona. I'll make sure I go around New Years c:

Anyway. we had fun for those 2 days. I forgot to take the camera yesterday but I do have more of the ones we took on Friday

I didn't get any of Jovanni, he deleted them from my camera lol But he pretty much fixed our other computer for free. It took him a long time to do it but he figured out the solution. We bought a new netcard at bestbuy and at first, it never worked no matter what he did. I really didn't think much of it, if he couldn't do it then it would be ok but he took it hard :C Then later we went out and I felt bad because he just didn't feel right, but I guess going out to eat then seeing a movie cleared his head a little more. ALSO WE SAW SCOTT PILGRIM IT WAS AWESOME I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE SHIT OMG DKSHFBGGS

Anyway, we went back to my house and he tried again. Then I told my mom that Andy wanted to talk to her and we all just got into this big conversation leading on to about 1000 different topics lol But yeah, the got along really well with my mom, and she really likes them now c: She even wants them to come again.

But yeah, after the movies we went back to my house and he tried again. An hour or so later Him and Andy reformatted the computer or something and put in the new netcard and it worked!

So because of Jovanni and Andy, I have my own laptop back, finally. Oh my god I was so happy.

Either way, I'm sad they had to go but I'm so happy they came out. I'll be sure to visit for their birthdays c: And Andy's fake birthday too lol

Also when I went to get the mini from upstairs yesterday, Andy wasn't watching as I walked down the hall so I threw the mini at him and hit him in the balls lol I apologized and sat on him c:

Busy Busy week

I've been working on this for the past 2 days. Was going to make this my new ID but I'm not sure. Plus I changed my ID not too long ago. I didn't get to work on it too long yesterday or make a blog post as I planned, I have a long week ahead of me cleaning the house, I get no help from my family either, ugh. So I have to do everything myself.

Lab mode

So last night I came across this journal on dA from a well known artist. And they were talking about lab mode in photoshop. I was pretty confused because I really didn't understand what they were talking about and what lab mode was.

I decided to try it out and good golly, I never knew colors could look so brilliant! I really love the way lab mode blends colors. RBG makes them look dull after they get mixed, lab mode looks as though the true color stays in. The only thing about it though, is that it's in photoshop. I can't paint all too well in photoshop, it doesn't feel as natural as SAI does. SAI is an ARBG program, so unless someone figures out how to change modes in SAI, I wont be able to do this. It's sad for me, really. I like lab mode.

Hopefully someday the SAI team will update their program, it's been a long time, and come up with some new tools and filters. It really needs a text tool to be perfect <3 But I'll have to stick with it for now and experiment with lab mode in photoshop.

Oh, and I finished that one picture an hour after I posted up the last blog entry. I'm not going to put it up, I'm too embarrassed lol Wergz might do it for me..

We went out today to go get my mom something to wear for work tomorrow and then she took us out to dinner. We went to a buffet and pretty much got stuffed, I didn't eat that much but I'm really full, haha.

And she said yes c: So they're coming from Arizona to come visit me for a few days. This is going to be fun, it's also convenient I live here in the high desert because we only live about 4-5 hours away. I'm really excited for next week, I'll be sure to take lots of pictures!

So I woke up to a nice surprise this morning. 11 notes on dA for commissions. I nearly happy cried that so many people were willing to help out. I'll be finishing Danda's commission later on today and hopefully an avatar. Anywho, gotta go finish answering all those notes ;u;

Here's something I was working on before I made the journal. I wont be working on it anytime soon, I might just post it next month since I've been drawing too many hunters anyhow. Supposed to be in the style of two other night time pictures I've done like this. The background is done though, I just can't see very well when I'm shading everything else lol

Just a tiny rant, because I don't feel like putting this on dA, I feel like I've been too active there, like I'm annoying :u But this new thing called hunter pups, what the fuck are they? Hunters are not dogs, so to call them pups, what the hell? I don't know, it's like when I made the mini hunter everyone turned around and started calling them pups because to be honest, I haven't seen smaller hunters around on dA until I made the mini.

I dunno, I might have not seen them but I do lurk on dA so seeing them pop up after the mini is confusing. Pups, really? The only hunter 'pup' that actually makes sense is the Puppy hunter which is made by Krazy-chibi, because it's actually SUPPOSED to be a DOG.

But then again, I still can't understand the l4d fandom *shrug*

So I think I might be getting used to photoshop just playing around on my own. I should be asleep right now but I've been having a lot of fun experimenting.

Just some small doodles I made. I've been wanting to draw Vault boy forever now. The first sketch was horribly bad so I had to just scratch it out. I like the rest of them, I tried to play with his body language without putting him out of character but I'm sure I failed at that. I'll try harder c: The evil Vault boy was fun. I just did some over painting of a sketch that I made of him there:

Dispite how simple he looks he was a challenge. I was doing this as an experiment to make a new background. I think I'll fail at making him look as badass as my current background though.

Anyway, I'm off to bed, I'm really tired.

Wow, got a lot of new viewers today, wat! But thank you all for following the blog.

What is this? I'm working on a tutorial for expressions/facial features, structures and whatnot.

No where near done and it feels so odd when I'm drawing them I make the same faces.

I've been drawing a lot more lately, I'm really happy with that. My coloring needs work again though, I feel like it's starting to get soft. I also would like to learn photoshop. I've been messing around with it and painting but it feels so weird. I guess I'm too used to SAI.

Oh and another thing, this is to anyone on my list, skype, steam, whatever. If my status is set to busy, away, or offline, DO NOT bother me. I don't care what it is, unless it's an emergency, someone dying or you need major help, don't bother me. I have it set that way for a reason. I'm either doing something or I just don't feel like being bothered. I don't want to come back to a bunch of messages. Thank you >:U

Hnnngg, I have to livestream later on when Andy gets back, lately I've been to nervous to just livestream on my own, I have to have someone to talk to while I'm drawing now lol It does make me feel a lot less nervous especially considering I can not draw in front of people and the avatar commissions are drawn on spot. So I'm like.. testing out SAI and finding out about all these features that I've always overlooked. I've found out about 2 things so far, it's pretty cool.

I can't explain the sketch above, I don't know who it is, or what exactly he's doing. The sketch was meant to be a girl, but then it turned to him. Hmm..

Another avatar has gotten done today, but I think that's enough of show and tell. Might livestream tomorrow, might not. I really have to be in the mood and have the energy to do it since I tend to stream for hours. I should get some serious sleep tonight then.

I tried to make a tumblr today after wanting to do it for almost a year now. But it's all slow and derpy, so I gave up on it. It was supposed to be for quick tutorials, but oh well now.

My examples for icon commissions. I've had this a while now, not sure if I should put it up tonight or tomorrow like I planned. Commissions are going well and the comic is moving along nicely. I was just up super late last night talking to a bunch of people over skype and was distracted. I had a lot of fun though.

I'm feeling a little better now. I hope to return to dA tomorrow. Funny how distancing myself from dA makes me feel better other than just doing anything else. I still do feel bad, but there's nothing I can do about what happened anyway other than be there for my family, life is so messed up sometimes.

I also finally got my new layout up on orange-zombie. I wanted to have it up on Monday but somehow my password to my site changed. Either I did it and didn't notice what password I was changing(because I was messing around with my email one) and hadn't remembered or someone was on my laptop and did it, which I doubt. I contacted my ISP over the web and we chatted about it, she said that it was a serverside problem and not my internet, I then contacted the owner of Brohoster through Facepunch since I couldn't access his site either.

Oh god, let me tell you, that guy, is the nicest guy ever. He pretty much replied right away as I sent the PM, he said I had blocked myself from my own site trying to log in with the wrong password, so he lifted the block I had set upon myself. I felt like such a derp afterward. But he said it was alright and changed my password for me and everything. I nearly had tears in my eyes because I was so relieved that it wasn't my net or my laptop, and that he was able to get me back to my site. THANK YOU JWJ!!! HNNNGGG He also said he liked my art which made my day that much brighter ;u;

Gonna make a dA journal about it tomorrow maybe, I encourage everyone to get a site from Brohoster if you're ever looking into getting one. The customer service is amazing ;A; I wish ALL customer service agents were like this.

I had the worst scare today. I went to restart my laptop and my tablet just stopped working. I literally started crying after restarting my laptop for the umpteenth time. I don't know what happened, it was weird. I was going to resort to asking dA goers for help, but most of everyone would have replied to something like 'Oh, I don't know, good luck, man!' or something :/

I even downloaded the drive from the official site, still didn't work. The disk that came with the tablet doesn't work for some reason either, it goes straight to 'Macromedia Projector has stopped working' so I don't even get the installation screen. I finally resorted to uninstalling the hardware, restarting my laptop, again, and using the driver to install the tablet. Finally worked, I was relieved because I thought that was the end of my drawing digitally.

Anyway, WIP of what I am working on.

All I have to do is work on this and my site will be ready to go! I have the new layout all set up, all I have to do is finish this and I can put it up, well, I'm going to have it tested as soon as I finish it. I can never be too sure. But I am proud of myself, I haven't coded a layout in years and I've finally got one down for my new site. The only thing I have left to do is finish the thumbnails and install some new fonts for the text after I finish this. No one really goes to the site, so it wont be 100% up when I get it there, haha. I need to think about doing affiliates after it's done though.

I also drew this last night, I'm going to start offering cheap sketch commissions since it's been a while that I've done it. They'll be like this I guess. I don't know who the kid is, I just started going with it :y

Just logged in to say how disgusted I am with Netgear and their routers. I can't get it to work no matter what I do. Called my ISP, they told me to call Netgear, called them and they were no help. Pretty much told me to do the same things I was doing and to call my ISP back because it might be their problem with my internet.

I might have to save up to get another router, but I really don't want to draw for money right now and it will take far too long but if I have to I will I guess.

I recorded this yesterday because it was too funny. My friend Casey told me about this speed cheat for Fallout 3 and I wanted to try it since all I knew was the tcl one. HAY, I HAD AN EXCUSE TO USE IT! My game was glitched and the kids wouldn't open the door to murder pass >:U So it's justified lol Excuse the jitteryness of the video, because I put the cheat in it made my game a little slower lol

So I've been relearning how to make layouts again recently. I finally understand div layouts again but I still need a legit copy of photoshop. I've been looking on the web and I've found some versions worth about $87, not elements either, just older versions on the CS series. I really wish I could buy it, I'd take commissions for it since I have to save up the money I have for a wireless router, but I'm kind of burnt out on commissions.

Anyway, the first of July! yay! Summer is really starting here, it's beginning to get hot, it usually gets hot around April or so but it's a lot later this time around for some reason. But it hasn't been unbearably hot like most of the summers we've had. I'm also hoping to get every commission/trade/collab done by the 16th. Hopefully with the pace I'm at I'll get to it before then.

So this was in the tf2 section of Facepunch today. I have to say, I laughed and agreed with it heartily, I think people are free to draw what they wish. But still, I think some people on dA and otherwise tend to take things like this a little too far, not the image above, but drawing slash featuring these guys.

For me, and maybe a few other people, they can agree that the guys don't seem gay at all, their personalities are like above, while others may think otherwise. For some reason, even though I like slash, sometimes people do tend to take it too far and try to make something work that never will be. And for some reason, I really hate that. I've always tried to stay as canon as possible with certain characters because drawing them otherwise, unless the creator has, just feels wrong and it's not that character that I've grown to love.

But that's why I like this image above. It's debatable, sure, but I do think that some people don't love the game as they claim to, but love their vision of what they wish for it to be.

God this makes me want to play tf2 lol

I've been watching msnbc pretty much all day now while doing commissions. I guess I'm just having one of those days where I don't want to and can't listen to music. Ugh. But it has kept me motivated, and I'm almost done with commission #3 for the day. I'm ready for more so I can order that damn wireless modem :C

My website is doing ok. I got the background image done and the only thing that needs fixing up is the links section and I can always add to the illustration part of it. Other than that, it's ready to go. I'd still like to make my own layout, I want to learn how to do a table layout again.

Andy is gone for the week, so now I have no one to poke fun at :C I'm going to see how much art I can finish up before he gets back, GTA ISN'T FUN BY MYSELF :C

So orange-zombie is on it's way to completion. It's just I've been working on commission a lot today. I know I said I don't normally draw on sundays but I'm pretty pumped and I feel like I need to get everything done.
